iPhone. uPhone.

As portable hardware goes, the Apple iPhone is the hot item of the day.

You could be mistaken for thinking it is all snazzy graphics and no substance, but you would be wrong.

Currently I’m the owner of a T-Mobile Vario II, and until I actually handled the iPhone, that was the way things were going to stay.

However, once the obligatory Apple battery issues are ironed out, I will be switching to O2 and using the iPhone.

The reasons are simple – the big display which puts to shame all of the HTC-designed devices; the wonderful touch screen and the amazing pioneering navigation system; the vast in-built memory; the superior camera.

While it is a shame that the iPhone is only available on one UK network, its an easy task to swap providers – and get your hands on the grail of mobile phones.
