How Touching
There are a few touch-sensitive browsers around at the moment for Windows Mobile devices, giving the user as far as possible an iPhone-esque experience.
I’m currently trying out TouchBrowser from Makayama. A free download with restricted trial is available, andyou can see more of it via the film below:

However, I’m not entirely happy with it. It utilises the Windows Mobile IE browser, so everything it displays gets chewed up and spat out by the very thing it is trying to replace – and the results aren’t really what you would call pretty.
Also while a 5 minute browsing time is fine on the trial version, preventing the entry of URLs is very shortsighted. How else can anyone be expected to see how their favourite pages render before buying?
However at around $15, it isn’t expensive, so may be worth a punt.
