New Omnia ROM

Those chaps over at the superb Modaco site have got their hands on a new ROM for the Omnia i900, Samsung’s tasty but in some ways less-than-perfect WinMo-powered “iPhone Killer”.
Known as HH1, the ROM features notable improvements over the officially released HG4 build, including..
- More haptic feedback (including for the XT9 keyboards! Hurrah!)
- New Today widgets
- More screen rotation animations
- Updated core OS and application versions
- ‘Connected Home’ DLNA server
- Updated Opera Mobile (build 1957)
- Reduced memory usage over released HG4 by way of omission of Chinese input methods
I’ve also spied some tasty Omnia-orginating widgets that have been hacked for other Windows Mobile devices, which I’ll point you in the way of tomorrow…
