Mobile Opera – the handheld browser of choice

Putting Internet Explorer and Safari to shame (so much so that Apple have banned it from their App Store) the Opera Mini browser is proving a massive success, and a good draw to customers impressed by its speed and flexibility.
Barely a new smartphone is released these days that doesn’t feature the browser which wipes the floor with Internet Explorer mobile.
Opera has been shipped on 40 million mobile devices up to November 2007, and while the Java-based Mini doesn’t have the same flexibility as Opera Mobile it is quicker and designed for use on all mobile phone displays.
