It’s a nice phone, but…

The MWg Zinc II Smartphone running Windows Mobile 6.1 has been reviewed at Pocket PC Thoughts, and while the device looks the part, there are a couple of design aspects that will pretty much turn off most potential users.

Replacing the old XDA issued under the o2 network, the MWg Zinc II possesses a slimmer form factor and a 500 mhz Samsung CPU, with 64 mb of RAM, a 2.8 inch 320 x 240 resolution touch screen -- and a steep price.

The RAM allocation is low as well, when 128 mb is just as affordable as 64, while the microSD card slot doesn’t ship with any form of cover, not even a dummy card, so there’s lots of potential for this interface slot to get damaged with various pocket matter.
